Rome, countdown to Christmas: the lights are turned on in via Margutta
A real “Christmas lightsproject”
Countdown to Christmas. A few days before the big event, the capital lights up its streets and does so in style. This evening, there was the switching on of the Illuminations of Via Margutta, an exclusive event, now in its seventh edition, which involved all the prestigious and historic activities present on the "Via degli Artisti". Exceptional testimonials: the Rai journalist and presenter, Monica Marangoni, and the Italian fiction and cinema actor, Pietro Genuardi.
A real "Christmas lightsproject": luminous spheres, arranged harmoniously along the entire street, which form a unique and exclusive tunnel of lights.
«We are happy to turn on the Christmas lights in person again this year – said Alberto Moncada, President of the well-known artists' street – it will be a nice moment to share with all the citizens and tourists who will be present in the city. A Christmas that we hope will be auspicious for a social, economic and interpersonal rebirth."
