Spelacchio, lighting on Sunday

The lighting of the lights of the Rome Christmas tree in Piazza Venezia is scheduled for the afternoon of Sunday 8 December.

At the inauguration of the Spelacchio lighting at 7pm, in addition to the mayor Virginia Raggi, Stefano Donnarumma, CEO of Acea, and Francesca Carotti, Corporate Italy communications manager of Netflix, will also be present. In the meantime, on social media Raggi responds to Spelacchio's Twitter account like this: «Spelacchio, we can't wait too! See you on December 8th in Piazza Venezia to illuminate the magical Christmas of Rome!
But yesterday it was the turn of the lights to be turned on on one of the most beautiful streets in Rome: in via Margutta, yesterday afternoon, there was a real Christmas party. Promoting the event was Alberto Moncada, owner of Emme Restaurant (via Margutta 19) and president of the Via Margutta International Association, which brings together all the economic and commercial operators and artisans who overlook the street of art and cinema .
The installation of the lights was created thanks to the financial contribution of all the members and many residents in via Margutta. It is the third year that Alberto Moncada, an exponent of the prestigious hotel industry in Rome, has organized the Christmas party event in conjunction with the switching on of the street lights.
