Rome, 4 December 2019 – Via Margutta has worn the bright livery that will accompany it for the entire holiday period. At 6.30 pm sharp the traditional Christmas lights were turned on on one of the most intimate and universally known streets of the historic center of Rome. As per tradition, Veronica De Laurentis, daughter of the unforgettable face of neorealist cinema Silvana Mangano and producer Dino De Laurentis, lit the lights, while the singer and performer Ines Boom Boom, and her group, sang Christmas carols and swing standards and pop giving rhythm and energy to the evening.
Promoting the event again this year was Alberto Moncada, president of the International Association via Margutta and owner of Emme Restaurant, in via Margutta 19, an exponent of the world of prestigious hotels in Rome. The international association Via Margutta brings together all the economic and commercial operators and artisans who face the path of art and cinema. For the third consecutive year Moncada wanted to celebrate the occasion with a Christmas Party at Emme Restaurant where guests toasted with sparkling wines from Franciacorta and wines from Lazio and enjoyed the gastronomic proposals of Daniele Ladaga, chef of Emme Restaurant.
